I am Ishwara Bhat.
I am in the industry since 1997 in different kinds of organizations ranging from tech start up to large global organizations. I have seen work cultures of American, European, Indian organizations and glimpse of far eastern cultures. I have worked in India and America. I have managed different kinds of projects, products and people. I also have seen how organizations mature, stagnate, go bad, grow, scale down, scale up, stumble and recover. I am excited to share my experiences, thoughts and hopes through this forum. And learn from your insights.
On technology front, now a days I keenly watch web, mobile, Internet of Things, autonomous driving. I follow few engineering sectors. These include industrial automation, building automation, energy management, automotive and networking. I am a hands-on technologist in several implementation platforms – Microsoft technologies, Embedded, micro controllers.
I am also well versed in program management, six sigma green belt and am certified PMP. Also I am trained in agile methodologies and worked in agile culture.
The mid-career crises begin after becoming first level manager. I have dealt with crises, have re-invented myself several times. The strength I gained from these is powering this blog.
I am sure that there are many who go through the crisis and evolve. I hope you all have something to relate to. If you have not experienced this yet, something to watch out for.
